PATH For Adults
PATH for conflict litigants is designed to transform conflicting parties, often used in family court disputes, and present conflict as an opportunity for growth and a way to eliminate extensive and uncomfortable court involvement. It is a four week program in which parties separately learn through a psycho educational format to tackle their cognitive distortions and promotes compassionate communication and self expression. PATH participants are encouraged to recognize the thinking errors, anger, social skills and empathy that are hindering their needs being met. Depending on enrollment numbers, PATH can be a class or one-on-one. The ultimate goal of PATH is to bring the parties together for a restorative dialogue.
